How does reverence for God change our lives? Do we understand what it means to be in Awe of God? Listen as Jared opens the Word and teaches about revering God in our lesson In Awe of God. https://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/06/09/in-awe-of-god
There is no more needed message than that of Jesus, His death, and His resurrection. We need to appreciate it even more as it beckons to us be reconciled to God. Join us as Jared teaches about the first principles of Christ those things by which we overcome sin so that we may please God. https://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/06/09/the-real-first-principles

From our series "Finishing what we began," Jared asks us to consider what our lives would be like without Christ? Are you ready to finish your walk with the master? Have you considered what He means to your daily life? Come let us consider God's perfect sacrifice who died so that we might have redemption and a way to the Father. https://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/06/02/your-life-without-christ
Enoch walked with God, as did Noah. Abraham was the friend of God. Job was His servant. David had a heart that sought God, but we have a better testimony than all of them. We are His children bought and redeemed by the blood of Christ. What does it mean to walk with God? Does He recognize us as His children? Do you know the peace that comes from submitting to the father's will? Listen as we consider the question, "What does the Bible say about our relationship with God?" https://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/06/02/walking-with-the-father
The Bible depicts God as both a loving Father and a Righteous Judge. The Relationship we have with Him depends entirely on our walk. Be here this morning at 9:00 to hear Jared preach from God's word about those who walked with God and found favor in His sight.
A worthwhile read from our brother Warren Berkley https://berksblog.net/2019/05/30/plow-straight-ahead/#like-465

Both of Jared's sermons on Sunday morning come from two of his year-long series Sunday 9:00 am- A Child of My Father: What does the Bible say about our relationship with the Father. Sunday 11:00 am- A Life Without Christ: Finishing what we began relearning Christ
We were so grateful to have brother Baldwin with us this past week. Coy did an excellent job both in reminding us of those things which we first learned in Christ and in pushing us to strive harder to be found pleasing to our Lord. If you missed these lessons the first time, or if you need to be encouraged all over again we invite you to listen as our brother opens and teaches from the word of God about "Your Life in Christ." The Demands of Being in Christ http://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/05/19/the-demands-of-being-in-christ Would You Give This to Your Governor http://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/05/19/the-demands-of-being-in-christ Please Send Someone Else http://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/05/19/the-demands-of-being-in-christ What's the difference between churches and the Lord's church? http://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/05/19/the-demands-of-being-in-christ Why Does God Allow Suffering? http://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/05/19/the-demands-of-being-in-christ Teach Us to Number Our Days http://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/05/19/the-demands-of-being-in-christ
"Watch with Me," He told them, but what they were not able to witness may be for us a great help in our time of sorrow and temptation. Will you spend a moment in Gethsemane with the master? https://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/05/12/with-with-me-a-moment-with-the-jesus-in-gethsemane
https://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/05/12/receiving-gods-favor Even as He proclaimed that the blessings of the Lord had come upon them those of Nazareth did not understand the great gift that Jesus was proclaiming to them. Do We?
How long would it continue? They wanted the blessings of God, but they refused to acknowledge Him as their God with their love and loyalty. There were one too many gods on their mountain, and it needed to change.
Malachi prophesied that the Lord would once more come into His temple. For some, it would be a day of fire and judgment and for others a day of deliverance and salvation; which one it would be was up to them. Which will it be for us? Listen as Jared opens the book and declares from the prophet Malachi God's last message.
There were two gods on the mountain that day, two altars, and two devotions. The problem is--that was one too many. Can we answer Elijah's challenge? How long will it be before God is the only god on your mountain? http://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/05/06/one-god-too-many
It's the message that closes out the Old Testament, but is it a plea to return to God, a promise of future glory when the Lord returns to His Temple, or a warning about the swift judgment which was to come if they continued to dishonor the Father? God leaves it open to the reader what kind of relationship they will have with him. Will they be added to His book of life or blown like chaff on the wind? http://www.centervillechurchofchrist.net/sermons/sermons/2019/05/06/malachi-the-last-message
